The Congress Information & Opportunity Centre, is now looking for Students to do a Q Q I Computer Course :
NEW: Reception and Front-line Office Skills
Aims and Objectives
This programme covers a wide range of skills, functions and responsibilities and will provide the learner with the knowledge, ability and qualification to work in a reception and front line office setting.
The objectives of this programme are:
- To enable the learner gain an understanding of the aspects of safety and health at work
- To enable the learner plan a reception layout and describe office equipment in the reception area
- To enable the learner deal with customers in a professional manner
- To enable the learner to produce reception material such as invoices, order forms, travel expenses etc
- To enable the learner to source information from the internet
- To enable the learner to apply a range of general administrative skills within the reception that will allow the learner to operate efficiently and competently in this area
- To enable and facilitate the learner to take responsibility for his/her own learning
Module Duration in Hours
50 hours class time (20 × 2 ½ hrs directed learning)
